Ado said four others, who also confessed to be members of Eiye Confraternity, had been terrorising students of the University of Ilorin, and residents.

Another three arrested at flash points in Tanke confessed to be active members of Aiye Confraternity, and were responsible for crimes, including homicide and robbery, under investigation.

He added that an investigative team from the force headquarters in Abuja had been deployed to assist in the investigation into the murder of a businesswoman, Alhaja Rashidat, at Kulende area of the town.

The police in Kano State yesterday paraded 13 members of a robbery syndicate, allegedly led by 30-year-old Yusuf Umar.

The suspects were caught during an operation at Tokarawa Village, Gerzawa Local Government.
