After three months Algeria's Prime Minister sacked

Prime Minister Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who has been in the job for less than three months has been sacked by Algerian President, Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

No reason was given for the dismissal, but it came just days after the president sent Tebboune a strongly worded letter demanding changes in policy.

Ahmed Ouyahia, who has served as the president's chief of staff has Immediately been named a new prime minister.
