Conte Speaks On Chelsea Sack

Chelsea gaffer, Anotnio Conte has, after avoiding a third straight top-flight loss on Saturday has spoken on talks about his sack. Had Chelsea lost on Saturday, he would have equalled Jose Mourinho’s record of matches lost that led to his sack in November, 2015.

It would be recalled that Chelsea, who had earlier surrendered their lead in the game against Watford, came back from behind to beat win 4-2 at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking to reporters, Conte said, “I must be honest. I feel a lot of pressure but not this type of pressure if the club decide to sack me. Honestly I don’t feel this pressure.”
“I trust in my work. I try to keep everything for the club that I’m working for. I’m doing this for Chelsea. I did this last season. I’m doing this with my staff this season. Honestly I will never be worried for this. Never.”
It would be recalled also that Conte had always expressed his disappointment over lack of activities in the summer transfer window. His side has been plagued with injuries and fatigue, with no adequate cover.
