Latest update as A serving Nigerian police officer has been shot dead by area boys in Lagos.

According to his colleague Titus, Sgt Emmanuel Abam, belonging to Itire Police Station Area D Command was killed by area boys at Akala Mushin, Lagos.

Investigations are ongoing to fish out the killers of the police officer.
