Ras Kimono, the
legendary raggae singer, whose real name is Augustine Oseloke Onwubuya, died
June 10, 2018, at the age of 60.
The body of the deceased was taken to the Onicha-Olona
in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta state, on Saturday.
The ceremony was graced by politician, entertainers,
friends and reggae lovers (like Daddy Showky, Yellow Man, Righteous Man, Orits
Wiliki and so on), who came to pay their last respect to the reggae icon.
The casket of carrying the corpse of the musician was
designed and dressed in Rastafarian colours as relatives, colleagues and fans
trooped to have a glimpse of him before being finally laid to rest.
In a speech given by a
Cleric of the Asaba Diocese of the Anglican Communion, Ven. Dr. Ogom Josiah, he
mentioned the late musician touched a lot of lives with his talent.
Rest on Ras Kimono.
